About RoundGlass Samsara: Conceptualised and organised by Grammy-winner, Ricky Kej and RoundGlass, the event was one-of-a-kind global conclave to create a consciousness about the environment. The 7-day long event comprised of art shows, music performances, film exhibitions and a roundtable featuring some of most eminent personalities from around the globe.
The Role of Communications: PR played a dual role in RoundGlass Samsara. While awareness creation about the event was a constant, the organisers also wanted to create a consciousness about the human impact on the environment through public relations. The aim was to great a global impact, reaching the necessary stakeholders. Conversations about climate change were slowly gaining consciousness across the world. While many were aware of the need to act on climate change, there was no conscious action.
Pepper managed and executed a communications strategy that covered all aspects of the event - starting with the press conference. Interviews were organised with various stakeholders, with the messaging focused on the changes required in our consciousness and their work towards the same. Literature, videos and images were shared with the journalists, underlining the same messages.
Over a period of 15 days, over 300 pieces of coverage were generated across print, online and electronic media.
